Falcon Academy cheerleaders to be living mannequins
SOME girls dream of working as models — but this is probably not what they had in mind.
A group of cheerleaders from Barnstaple's Falcon's Academy acted as living mannequins for the afternoon at clothing boutique New Look in Green Lanes on Saturday.

The stunt, in which 12 cheerleaders took turns modelling the store's new summer range, was engineered to raise money to help the group enter a British Cheerleading Association event in Brighton in November.
The money raised was split between the Falcons and New Look's chosen charity, the Tommy's Baby charity.
Stacey Dorman, the Falcons coach, said: "It was very tough — we're all used to jumping around and smiling, not standing still and pouting.
"It did go really well though and we had a great response from the public. A lot of them were shocked and had to do a double take to see if we were real or not.
"The public were very supportive and it's good that more people know about our situation."
