Firefighters tackle car fire on A39 between Roundswell and Barnstaple
FIREFIGHTERS were called when a BMW car caught fire on the A39 this evening.
Two engines from Barnstaple were called to the incident involving a black BMW at 6.58pm on the A39 between Roundswell and Bideford.

Crews extinguished the fire using one hosereel jet and two breathing apparatus.
The owner of the car was not hurt and the cause of the fire is not known.
