Like it or loathe it, social media is now an important

tool for small businesses to raise business profile and promote local products

and services.

Covering such as topics as "why set up a Facebook

business page?" and how to do it, how to use Likes, posting and topics, and how

to integrate social media into you marketing efforts, this free interactive

workshop promises to provide valuable promotional opportunities for small

businesses and the area in general.

The free interactive workshops are being run at

Cookworthy Forest Centre on Monday 11th February and Tuesday 5th

March, from 10am to 1pm. Refreshments will be available.

Those wanting to attend the workshops will need to bring

a laptop to connect wirelessly to the internet, along with other information

about their business. Information requirements will be provided upon booking.
