Fremington under-10s win North Devon Youth League Cup thriller
FREMINGTON under-10s reached the semi-finals of the West Country Cleaning Services North Devon Youth League Cup with a dramatic 6-3 extra-time win over Bideford AFC.
They twice came from behind in normal time to lead 3-2, only for Bideford to net a last-minute equaliser.
Fremington dug deep to score three goals in extra time.
Sam Petherbridge rounded off a fantastic all-round team effort with his second, a thumping top-corner finish.

Logan Warren and man of the match Connor Hopkins were Fremington's other scorers with two each.
Fremington missed out on a place in the semi-finals of the under-12s cup with a penalty shoot-out defeat to Barnstaple Youth.
The Black and Whites trailed 3-0 at half time but an inspirational half-time team-talk from manager George Tossell saw the boys come out fighting with goals from Jamie Toleman, Cameron Smelt and Bailey Harris.
The deadlock could not be broken in extra time and Barnstaple won the shoot-out 4-2.
Bideford AFC drew 2-2 with SAS Warriors in an under- 16s league match, with goals from Matthew Fay and Billy Parsons.
