Frozen water pipe bursts causing flooding at Bampton property

A property near Bampton flooded at the weekend after a frozen water pipe burst.

Fire crews from Bampton attended the two-storey domestic property in Oakford Bridge at around 12.30pm on Saturday.

Upon their arrival firefighters found flooding within the property and confirmed a frozen water pipe had burst in the roof space.

Crews isolated the water supply and assisted the occupants in recovery of the house.
