LITTLE OWLS pre-school in Bishops Nympton has been rated as good by Ofsted inspectors who visited the school in October.

Staff at the school were delighted to receive the recognition after moving from the old village hall into new, purpose built premises in April.

Ofsted inspector Sara Bailey said: "Children experience a range of exciting indoor and outdoor activities in a safe, welcoming environment."

School administrator Amelia Joyner said: "The staff and committee are very proud of the school and work hard to support the rural community and give the children in their care the best education and experiences they can."
