HAPPY: Harvey Hudson reunited with his beloved Fender Stratocaster.
Officers believe the theft may have been linked to a series of burglaries targeting blind musician Connor Mackay, who had been staying at the address at the time.
Harvey, 20, who plays in several bands in Ilfracombe, was devastated to be parted from his guitar and said he felt lost without it.

However, the valuable instrument was discovered by a dog walker on February 20 on National Trust land at the Torrs in Ilfracombe.
Harvey said: "The guy noticed his dog sniffing around a bush and picked up the case.
"He thought it was full of guns or something but when he opened it up saw what it was and returned it to the police.
"It didn't have a scratch on it and was still perfectly in tune."
Police said the guitar was not dusted for fingerprints because Harvey did not want to damage the instrument.
