Hendy's the star as Barum sink Torrie

ROB HENDY was man of the match as Barnstaple Under-14s beat Torrington 32-0.

Barum dominated possession but found it hard to break a disciplined defensive line.

When they did get through, there were tries for Kieron Morgan (two), Joe Dimelow, Hendy, Gareth Sloman and George Conway who also kicked a conversion.

Tired Torrington then went on to lose to Minehead before the Torrie and Barum sides were mixed up for a friendly.

Torrie won 10-0 with tries by Morgan and Hendy.

Barum's under-13s outclassed touring Bromsgrove in a 60-0 victory.

The try-scorers were Bradley Campbell (three), Zac Davie, Alexi Bulpet, Kipper Sluman, Barney Meadowcroft, Isaac Hydleman and Nat Bayet (two). Meadowcroft kicked five conversions.

Good work by the pack allowed Barnstaple Under-12s' backs to provide a flourish in their 36-0 win at Tiverton.

Luke Harris, Alfie Pennyfield, Matt Giblett, Alex Roberts, Will Knill and Sam Taylor crossed, with Knill adding the conversions.

Barnstaple Under-11s had double delight at Bude, beating the hosts and Launceston.

Tries by Blake Simpson, Aaron Vella and Nathan Fouche, with conversions by Danny Southworth and Jono Slee, gave Barum a 19-7 win over the All Blacks. Nick Loat was man of the match.

The second match was one-sided with Barum's centres breaking through at will. Josh Hill, Southworth (three), Otis Llewellyn (two) and Rafe Yewdal got the tries in a 45-0 win. Southworth (two), Slee, Llewellyn and Vella kicked conversions.

In their three-way fixture, Barnstaple Under-10s lost six tries to nil against Launceston and 9-8 to Bude.

The Barum try-scorers were Jake Hawkins, Jack Whiterod, Danny Roberts, Charlie Hannan and Flynn Elsworthy.

The Under-Nines fared better, beating Bude 10-0 with scores from Dylan Gosling and Tyler Olding before overcoming Launceston 15-0 through Miles Rees and Olding (two).

Forward James Brown was named South Molton Under-16s' man of the match in their 14-10 win over Torrington.

Going behind to George Jones' try, Molton had to soak up pressure before turning the tide in the second half with tries by Ollie Shaddick and Tristan Burgess, converted by Lewis Taylor and Dom Stoneman.

Torrie skipper Dale Sayer got over the line in the last play of the match. Their star man was Will Andrew.

South Molton Under-15s ground out a 0-0 draw against Tiverton.

Dom Thorne was named man of the match for his running and tackling.

Bideford Under-11s led 21-0 at half-time at South Molton but had to settle for a 21-14 win.

Jack Willes, Tom Squire and Aaron Rowley scored tries for Biddy.

Good defence from James Quy and Ollie Constable stopped Molton's comeback which featured tries by Tom Worsley and Alun Sullivan.

The teams were mixed up as South Molton and Bideford Under-10s met.

Fifteen tries were scored as the match finished 40-35, with Dominic Cork (three), Oliver Squire (three), Eli Petch, Josh Thorne, Jake Jarvis (five) and Ollie Friendship (two) crossing. James Conchie was the star player.
