Highlighting Ilfracombe architecture
MONOPOLY style boards featuring 50 Ilfracombe businesses have been erected throughout Ilfracombe.
The Ilfracomopoly boards, which were created by Ilfracombe Arts College students and members of the public at the Big Draw event in October, are designed to illustrate the town's diverse and varied architecture.
Businesses in the town paid to be included on the boards which have been erected on the hoardings near Runnymeade gardens, the market arches near Studio 20 and near St James Place.
Project coordinator Karen Wicks, head of art at Ilfracombe Arts College, said: "We want to use the boards to celebrate our pride in the town, as well as its artistic identity and this is the first of many public art projects to be undertaken by the college."
