Hundreds gather for Daylin Brown's funeral
HUNDREDS of people lined the streets of Torrington this morning to pay their last respects to teenager Daylin Brown.
Daylin, 16, from Calf Street, died in a road accident near the town on February 5.
His funeral was taking place at St Michael's Church in Torrington this morning followed by a private service for family and close friends at Barnstaple Crematorium.
Daylin's family had arranged for his white coffin to be decorated with the Leeds United colours and logo and arrive at St Michael's Church in a low-loader lorry reflecting two of his greatest joys in life.
Members of his family walked to the church while six bearers travelled with Daylin on the K&J Plant vehicle and another 10 walked behind.
A sound system was also set up outside the church to relay the service to the hundreds of mourners expected to attend.
