Jazz singer Clare Teal returns to the Plough
SHE presents her own BBC Radio 2 show. She's supported Liza Minnelli at Kenwood House and she's performed at the Royal Albert Hall with the John Wilson Orchestra as part of the BBC Proms. She's also been crowned twice as Yorkshire Arts Personality of the Year. The wonderfully talented Clare Teal returns to the Plough this Saturday.
Although rooted in the jazz traditions of the Thirties and Forties, the main focus of her Purveyors Of Sunshine tour is on Clare's interpretations and delivery of some of the greatest British songs of the last 100 years. From Ivor Novello and Noel Coward to Annie Lennox and Snow Patrol, the show wends its way through 100 years of pure class.

Clare won British Jazz Singer of the year in both 2005 and 2007, and BBC Jazz Singer of the Year 2006.
She has asked local singing talent, 12-year-old Keira Osment, to support her on the night.
