Jobs at Barnstaple’s Jessops store in jeopardy as company goes into administration
Jobs at Barnstaple’s Jessops store could be at risk after the company announced it had been placed into administration.
The camera chain, which has a store in the High Street, confirmed it had gone into administration yesterday afternoon following mounting speculation. Administrators said store closures were “inevitable”.
Jessops is Britain’s only specialist nationwide camera retailer and owns nearly 200 stores.
Around 2,000 jobs nationwide are thought to be at risk.
