Julie Whitton is new fundraising officer for North Devon District Hospital’s Chemotherapy Appeal

Julie Whitton has been appointed the new fundraising officer for North Devon District Hospital’s Chemotherapy Appeal.

Julie will support fundraising manager Ian Roome in guiding the Appeal from its current total of £1.3million to the target of £2.2million.

The proposed chemotherapy and day treatment unit will provide a modern, purpose-built environment for more than 8,000 patients in North Devon.

Julie, who has worked for the Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust for more than 20 years, said: “Fundraising and events are my passion and the Chemotherapy Appeal is close to my heart.
