Laugh away winter blues with whirlwind historical tour
THE junior company of the Plough Youth Theatre (PYT) is inviting you to laugh away your January blues with A Complete History Of The World (abridged) by Michael Conyers. Join Old Father Time and Bruce Fortuna in this whirlwind tour of the history of the world – without the boring bits. Find out why Babylonians feared falling elephants; why Pythagoras should have been a cabaret singer; how Captain Cook discovered the Isle of Wight; and why Roman bears couldn't have manicures.
"Everyone's been having so much fun working on this and it's been great to see so many new members joining throughout the term too," said PYT director Sarah Middleton.
