'Let us know you are safe and well'
THE family of a missing woman last seen in Ilfracombe have made an emotional appeal for her to get in touch.
Catherine Nee, originally from Reading, went missing 12 years ago. She was 31 when she was last seen by her family and would now be 43.
Devon and Cornwall Police believe she had been living in Ilfracombe for about 18 months around 2002/03. She was also well known in the Reading area and Newbury and some people knew her as Kathy.
Thames Valley Police are leading a missing person investigation.

Detective Inspector Kev Mahon, who is leading the investigation, said: "If Catherine is out there now, I would urge her to come forward and let us know that she is safe and give her family peace of mind."
In a statement, Catherine's family appealed for her to come home: "Catherine is a daughter, mother and grandmother. We haven't seen or heard from her for 12 years.
"Catherine, if you are reading this please get in contact with us.
"You have six beautiful grandchildren who would love to meet their grandmother.
"The whole family misses you and we all just want you to come home or at least get in touch with us to let us know you are safe and well.
Anyone with any information about Catherine's whereabouts can contact Thames Valley Police on 101 and quote URN 897 of 16/11/12.
