OKEHAMPTON Battle of the Bands, heat three, takes place today (Thursday July 30) in the Charter Hall at 6pm.

Bands taking part and hoping to win through to a place in the Grand Final include The Aftermath from Holsworthy; Massacre, The Roulettes, and Feedback from Okehampton; FOE from Bideford; The Sam Dowden Band from South Molton; and Pickpockets and Skyrockets and Unnamed Heroes from Barnstaple.

Entrance is free and there will be hot food and hot and cold drinks available.

The top two bands as decided by a panel of judges will go through to join Go Green Monkey, Half Price Waffles, The Sum Of and Jonny Black at the Grand Final, which is a massive party for all the family held in Simmons Park in Okehampton on Saturday August 8 from 6pm.

The final will feature all the winning bands, plus special guest headliners Staid As Quo, a rocking tribute to the music of Status Quo.
