Director of rugby Kevin Squire admitted Barnstaple were outplayed by London Irish Wild Geese.
The National Three south west leaders won 72-17 in Saturday's match in Middlesex – Barum's heaviest defeat of the season.

The visitors took a 10-8 lead with a try by Tom Skelding but paid a heavy price for a succession of missed tackles on opponents who were already too quick for them.
Squire said: "We lived with them for a while but it was only a matter of time before they broke us down.
Any current pupil introducing a new pupil to the school receives 1 free hour should that pupil take up lessons with Accord. No Limit on amount of pupils or free hours.

On Saturday, Barnstaple are at home to bottom side Maidenhead who won for the first time since October 6 at the weekend when they beat Avonmouth Old Boys 25-20.
