Man admits ABH over nightclub glassing
A nightclub customer has admitted throwing a glass which left another drinker with a serious cut to his face.
Jimmy Briggs, 24, of Town Meadow, Bickington, near Barnstaple, left his victim needing hospital treatment after the incident in a club in South Devon.

He admitted causing actual bodily harm in the incident on August 25 and his case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports without the facts being opened. Judge Graham Cottle granted him bail but warned him: "The fact I am doing so does not mean that you will not receive a custodial sentence."
