Man arrested on Exmoor charged with murder after wife's body found in Wiltshire

A man who was arrested on Exmoor in connection with the death of a woman in Wiltshire has been charged with her murder.

Richard Gordon Newton, 51, of Melksham, has been charged with the murder of his 45-year-old wife Suzanne.

He will appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning.

Newton was arrested by Devon and Cornwall Police in Dulverton on Exmoor on Sunday following a search by police to locate him following the discovery of Mrs Newton’s body at a house in Melksham.
