Man dies and two seriously injured in early hours M5 crash near Taunton
A man in his 20s has died and two more have suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash on the M5 this morning.
Police and ambulances were alerted to the crash which happened around 6.15am on the southbound carriageway between Taunton and Wellington.

Avon and Somerset police confirmed one man died in the collision and two people have been taken to Musgrove Hospital in Taunton with life-threatening injuries.
The road is likely to remain closed for three hours between junction 25 and junction 26.

Police are advising motorists to find alternative routes while an investigation takes place.
Sergeant Jim Whatley, from the Roads Policing Unit, said: "This is a serious incident in which a young man has tragically lost his life. I am particularly keen to speak to anyone who was using the motorway network at this time who may have witnessed this collision."
