A MAN was rescued by firefighters after he fell about 10 feet on to rocks next to the Tarka Trail. The incident happened at 10.45am near the old lime kilns, Ashford, on bank holiday Monday. The middle-aged man was taken to North Devon District Hospital by ambulance. He was not thought to have been seriously injured but was said to have injured his hip and was in some pain.
