Man suffers electric shock after tractor strikes live electricity cables in Huntshaw
A man suffered an electric shock after the tractor he was travelling in struck a live electricity cable in Huntshaw yesterday.
It is understood two men were working on a farm in the area when the incident occurred at around 2.44pm.

Police said both of the men were travelling in the tractor when it struck some live electricity cables.
It is believed the men were using the tractor to dig a trench at the solar farm when they stuck the live power cable.

One of the men, from Barnstaple, suffered serious injuries and was flown by air ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford).
The other man, from the Torrington area, was checked over at the scene by paramedics.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the Health & Safety Executive had been informed of the incident.
A spokesman for executive said: “We are aware of the incident and we are investigating it.
“A Health & Safety Executive inspector has visited the site today and we will ensure it is thoroughly investigated.”
