Man suffers serious head injuries in Barnstaple attack
A man suffered serious injuries after being repeatedly kicked in the head in Barnstaple at the weekend.
Police said he and another man were attacked by a group of between four and six men in Maiden Street between 3.30am and 4.00am on Sunday, October 14.

A 25-year-old man received serious facial and head injuries after being kicked repeatedly in the head by the attackers while he was on the floor, police said. He required hospital treatment for his injuries.
The second victim, aged 22, received cuts and bruises to his face.

Police say the group had attended the Venue night club earlier in the evening.
