Man suffers head injury after car collides with crash barrier on A361 in Barnstaple
A man was taken to hospital with a head injury after a car collided with a crash barrier on the A361 in Barnstaple on Sunday.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the scene of the crash on Rumsam Bridge at around 10am.
The male driver, aged 36, suffered cuts to the head after the Ford Focus, which is registered to an address in Somerset, crashed.
He was checked over at the scene by paramedics before being taken to North Devon District Hospital. Two passengers in the car were also checked over at the scene but were said to be uninjured.

Police closed the road while the vehicle was recovered, causing traffic delays between Coberton roundabout and Roundswell roundabout.
The road was reopened at 11.50am.
