Man taken to hospital after digger overturns
A 38-YEAR-OLD man has been taken to North Devon District Hosptial after the digger he was driving overturned.
The incident happened this morning near St Paul's Church in Filleigh, near Barnstaple at 10.45am.
Police closed the road for a short time while a tree was removed from the road, it is unknown whether the vehicle had driven into the tree.
Fire crews from Barnstaple and South Molton also attended the scene and cut the man free from the vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment.

The man, who police say is from the local area, was taken to hospital by land ambulance but it is unknown at this stage how serious his injuries are.
