Man treated by paramedics after fuel spillage in Bideford

A man had to be treated by paramedics after a car started leaking fuel in Bideford this afternoon.

One fire crew was called to the Old Town area at around 1.15pm after receiving reports of a fuel spillage.

Firefighters contained the fuel spill using an environmental pack and ensured the vehicle and scene was safe.

An elderly man became unwell at the scene and an ambulance was called.
