NIELSON Webber set off from Barnstaple on Tuesday on the fourth leg of his seven marathons in seven days.

He is raising money for Spinal Research UK and for his girlfriend, Carly Taylor, who broke her neck in November when she suffered a fall in Truro.

Barnstaple rugby player Nielson, 22, began his trek in Carly's home village Crantock, Cornwall, on Saturday.

He is due to complete the journey tomorrow at Carly's bedside at Salisbury District Hospital.
