ELEVEN different players got on the scoresheet as Woolacombe and Mortehoe recorded one of the biggest ever wins in the North Devon Journal League.

Poor Landkey Town were walloped 24-0 in intermediate two with Liam Dyer and Alex Boyd the only players in the Seasiders squad not to score.

Player-manager George Gwynn led the rout with seven, Matt Lambert drilled a hat-trick while Adam Baxter, Nick Shilleto, Michael Whipp, Steve West and Wayne Potter all scored twice.

The home side needed just 19 seconds to take the lead through Chris Bulled and they were 11-0 up by half-time.

Landkey, who only finished with ten after one player walked off, also conceded an own goal, a Mark Turner strike and a penalty from goalkeeper Richard Slaney.

Three goals were enough for Woolacombe against Northside Atlantic as Gwynn netted twice and Baxter took his tally to 32 for the season, from midfield.

Atlantic took the lead when Josh Wood headed his first for the club, from a cross by manager Jon Stanton.

Wood kept up his goalscoring form the next day, with an equaliser against Torridgeside, and Northside went on to win 3-1.

Danny Woolf smashed in a penalty for his 22nd goal of the campaign and Vinny Bott took his tally to 42.

On Tuesday night, Bratton Fleming beat Pilton Academicals 3-2 with a last-minute penalty from Mark Bithell.

It was a good way to sign off for Bratton manager Martin Southcott who is stepping down after three seasons in charge.

Sean Childs scored twice while the Accies looked to be heading for a point thanks to Bill Gregory and Luke Holland.

Pilton missed out too, against Chittlehampton as Kyran Jones and the Palmer brothers — Luke and Marc — secured a 3-2 win.

Quyen Tran and a second goal of the season from Garry Ellis kept Pilton in touch but their hopes were dented with a red card for David Coggin.

A goal from Luke Palmer couldn't prevent Chittle losing their final game 3-1 against Northam Lions.

Woolsery made sure of third place with 12 goals in their last two games. They made a real return to form in the 5-2 win against Torridgeside as Nick Glover (three), Steve Langbridge and Tom Barton did the damage.

A freak own goal provided the lead against South Molton before Damian Bowles, Glover and a stunning strike from Tom Hawkes made it 4-0 by half-time.

Ryan Mudway (penalty), substitute Langbridge and Marc Clark rounded things off after the Images scored from the spot through Brendan Shaddick.

In the premier division, Bradworthy pipped North Molton for fifth place by beating them in the final game.

Despite trailing to a goal from Greg Holland on the stroke of half-time, Brad hit back through James Yeo, and Liam Dart grabbed the winner.

Tom White scored his first goal for the first team as Braunton beat Combe Martin to round off the campaign with eight straight wins.

A double from Scott Maynard put the visitors 3-0 up and Mark Sanders sealed a 4-1 success after Reid Eccleston pulled one back.

Finishing third and just five points behind champions Shamwickshire Rovers, Braunton will be optimistic of challenging next year.

A successful return to the top flight was capped for Bideford with four goals from an unusual source.

Regular goalkeeper Ali Bright marked a cameo role up front with half his team's total in the 8-1 win at Morwenstow.

Trailing from the fourth minute, Mark Cann volleyed the Robins level before Sam Schiller, John Jeffries and Jack Langford contributed to the tally

Dolton fell behind too, in the senior division, before bouncing back for an emphatic win.

A cracking shot from Jamie Hutton gave Landkey Town a first-minute lead but their hopes of avoiding the bottom were dashed by six in reply.

George Folland equalised, his brother Will made it 2-1 and Billy Tubb, Dan Stubbings, Adrian Sealey and Will Clark did the rest.

Chasing hard for third place, Chittlehampton had to work for a half-time lead against Combe Martin, Ciaron Lishman scoring the only goal.

But their fluent football brought seven more after the break thanks to a hat-trick from Kevin Latham, Andy Hill, Simon Lockyer, Guy Williams and an own goal.

Much-improved the next day, Combe Martin beat Kilkhampton 3-2 through Gareth Evans (two) and Kieran Sanders. A double from Danny Smith kept Kilk in with a chance.

The Cornishmen fell behind against South Molton too, before Liam Bunning cancelled out an early effort from Colin Kennerson.

Simon Loosemore fired the Images back in front and they wrapped up the points with a goal from player-manager Steve Seatherton.

Bude Town picked up three points when Pilton Academicals were unable to raise a team for the trip to Broadclose.

Intermediate one champions Woolsery signed off in style, scoring seven goals in each of their last two games.

Russell Costigan (four) and Luis Wilkins (three) put Anchor to the sword while Wilkins, Sam Bissett (two), Mischa Howe, Tom Summers (two) and Ashley Glover were on target against Equalizers.

Four goals from Dave Brown helped Clovelly to a 7-3 win over Sporting Barum after they went 1-0 down.

Nick Brazier, with a superb long-range lob, Rob Kearney and an own goal sealed the result.

Sporting also fell away after a promising start against High Bickington as Rob Hunt and Darren Avery put the visitors 2-1 up at the break.

Patrick Tucker chipped in his first goal of the season, and goalkeeper Ian Stewart, pushed up front for the last 20 minutes, made it 4-1.

Nico Pfeiffer netted twice as Equalizers smashed five past runners-up Park United. Darren Floyde, Andrew Parkhouse and Jamie Pow completed a fine 5-1 win for the Barnstaple side.

And Braunton played some excellent football to beat Merton 6-2 courtesy of Dale Darch, Jon Shury and two apiece from James O'Sullivan and David Mason.

Merton, reduced to 10 men for most of the second half, replied though Lewis Harris and Nathan Delaune.
