The snow and ice warning is in place for the whole of Devon and Cornwall on both Saturday and Sunday

It warns rain will increasingly turn to snow with the potential for 5-10cm to fall on high ground and 2-5cm on lower ground.

The sleet and snow will eventually clear southwards and temperatures are set to drop on Sunday causing surfaces to become icy.

“Will the council do the job they are paid for and grit the roads for a change? Seeing as they charge for parking permits (to park on THEIR property), Council tax for services and road tax for road maintenance, surely they have a legally binding duty to keep them in a safe condition or face legal action for neglecting public safety and failure to keep "their" facilities (roads and parking) in a safe condition?”
