New team attitudeCharity cycle ride
ANTHONY TURNER is getting on his bike in aid of prostate cancer on Saturday and is appealing for more people to take part and cycle the Tarka Trail for charity.
The director of Anthony Turner estate agents in Barnstaple said the day will be fun, for all ages and for a very good cause, The Chestnut Appeal.
"The intention is to try to get a specialist prostate cancer nurse in North Devon. This can only be done by raising awareness and fundraising," said Mr Turner.
He wants people to be inspired by Britain's Olympic cycling success and join him and fellow organisers David Squires, a fundraiser for The Chestnut Appeal, and Mark Juby, former principal at Pilton Community College, at Petrockstowe at 9am.

THERE IS a brand new attitude at Bond Oxborough Phillips in Torrington, since the arrival of a new team and new management.
Mark Spratley was promoted to branch manager in November 2010 and has greatly improved customer service, print and digital advertising and property editorials at the branch.
His new team includes Helen Bunn, who has brought 20 years of experience to her unique role as sales progressor, and has already streamlined the sales process, reducing the time between agreeing a sale and the exchange of contracts.
Matthew Branch has joined from the Bideford office, bringing with him six years experience and full NAEA qualification.
Samantha Bright completes the team, joining as salesperson when Bond Oxborough Phillips took the move to open the Torrington branch seven days a week.
