AN EXCITING new venture for North Devon Hospice's shops started this week as we opened our very first homeware section.

This is an expansion of our popular furniture centre at St George's Road, Barnstaple and North Devon Hospice Furnishing and Homeware now sells a much wider variety of quality donated goods, raising vital funds for the charity.

We have a huge range of CDs, books, bric-a-brac and electrical items at great value prices, so as well as the great furniture we already stock, you can grab even more bargains for your home!

North Devon Hospice has 11 shops throughout the area, and the income they provide is vital to us as we provide specialist care and support to local people suffering from the impact of a life-threatening illness.

Another great way to support the hospice is through our weekly Lottery Club. The winner of this week's £1,000 top prize is Mr. Floyd (Lottery No. 11419) from Barnstaple, while Mr. R (47431) also of Barnstaple wins £100. Mrs. Fox (10205) of Ilfracombe wins £75; Mrs. M. P. (53019), our £50 winner, lives near Bideford and our £25 winner, Mr. W. D. (30091) also lives near Bideford.
