Newton Faulkner has been announced as the headline act for Friday night at Goldcoast Oceanfest 2012.

Ever since his performance at Goldcoast in 2009, organisers have received constant demand to get the musician back.

The British singer-songwriter rose to success following the release of his 2007 debut album ‘Hand Built By Robots’.

He is currently working on his third studio album and will appear at the North Devon festival off the back of his UK spring tour.

Ben Howard has already been announced as the Saturday night headline act.

The Devon musician has just returned from consecutive UK and European sell-out tours and will be on tour in America before coming back to appear at the GoldCoast Oceanfest in June.

His debut album ‘Every Kingdom’ rocketed him to fame, reaching the top 10 in the album charts.

Ben Howard will be supported by up-and-coming artist Natty, who recently supported Ziggy Marley on tour in America.

Goldcoast Oceanfest 2012 will be held on Friday, June 15, until Sunday, June 17.
