North Molton knock Barnstaple Town out of Torridge Cup
GREG HOLLAND scored twice in the second half as North Molton knocked Barnstaple Town out of the Torridge Cup.
Holland broke the deadlock 15 minutes from time and wrapped up a 2-0 win with a penalty after Tom Marsh was brought down.
After their 4-1 victory at Mill Road in the Westward Ho! Cup, it was the second time the North Devon League club have beaten Barnstaple this season.
Tuesday night's result underlines the work required if Barnstaple are to rebuild as a force in the Toolstation Western League. Jed Harper-Penman went closest to scoring for the hosts but on three occasions had free kicks saved by Joe Tickle.

North Molton, the Torridge Cup winners in 2011, will host Shamwickshire Rovers in the quarter-finals on Sunday.
Tom Bulley, the Barnstaple manager, made a rare start alongside Luke Evans up front.
Bulley was pleased with the performance of Sam Phillips, of Barnstaple FC, at right back.
He said: "It's obviously a tough loss for us to take but it sums our season up.
"Both teams played some good football in parts.
"It's not ideal losing to a North Devon premier team, albeit a good team.
"North Molton had a couple of experienced heads in there and we haven't really got that."
Ahead of the trip to Odd Down in the premier division on Saturday, Barnstaple have made two new signings in Ben Waltz and Danny Murdock.
"I'm just keeping my options open between now and the end of the season," said Bulley.
"Looking at as many lads as I can is only going to help."
Ilfracombe Town's match at Bristol Manor Farm was postponed on Saturday.
They host Winterbourne United this weekend before visiting Wells City on Tuesday.
