THE Fremington Parish Council chairman's chain of office has a new pendant.
Parish council chairman Rodney Cann was presented with the pendant by Steve Crowther, chairman of the UK Independence Party, pictured right.

Mr Crowther paid for the pendant in memory of his grandfather, Captain Guy Pertwee, and his mother, Gill Crowther. Both were parish councillors.
