Pedestrian hit in B3217 crash by Libbaton Golf Course
A MAN in his 70s has been taken to hospital after being hit by a van on the B3217 near High Bickington.
The pedestrian was struck by the van on the road which runs alongside Libbaton Golf Club, between High Bickington and Burrington.
The accident, which happened at 3.15pm, left the man with possible fractures, said a police spokesman, although he was conscious and breathing.
The road was impassable for a short while after the accident but was never officially closed.
