PILTON ACADEMICALS have been forced to withdraw their second team from the North Devon League.

Despite enjoying a successful season with the reserves sitting fifth in intermediate two, the club has struggled to put out a first team in the senior division.

Mark Gammon, the second-team manager, and many of his players will now step up two divisions to take their place.

All of Pilton's results in intermediate two have been deleted.
