Planting real flavour
CHIPPED, mashed, boiled or roasted – there are so many ways to enjoy your spuds. Potatoes are one of the easiest vegetables to cultivate so are an excellent choice for foodies who want to start growing their own veg.
Growing your own can certainly save you money, however, for many gardeners the best reason to grow potatoes is flavour. The taste of new potatoes that have been cooked and presented on the plate within half an hour of digging certainly takes some beating.
