Police appeal after window of Bideford house smashed by heavy object

Police are appealing for information after the window of a property in Bideford was smashed in the early hours of Saturday.

Officers said a man and his 14-year-old daughter were in the lounge of the house in Bowden Green when the front window of the room was smashed with a heavy object.

No one was injured in the incident which occurred at around 12.30am.

The occupiers told police they saw two men, who were wearing dark clothing, walking away after the incident.
