Police appeal for witnesses after stabbing in Old Station Road, Barnstaple
A MAN was stabbed in the leg on Old Station Road in Barnstaple last month, police have revealed.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the victim, a man in his 50s, was stabbed having been approached by two men near Lidl.

One of the men stabbed the victim before running off in the direction of Gloucester Road.
The stabbing took place at around 7pm on Thursday, October 18, but police have only released the information today.

The victim required stitches to his left thigh as a result of the assault.
He said the man with the knife was a white man, aged in his early to late 20s, approximately 5' 11" in height and of medium build with mousy coloured hair. He was wearing a blue top, a black t-shirt with blue jeans and brown shoes.
The second man was also white and a little shorter.
