Police hunting for man armed with hammer on Fort Street in Barnstaple
Police have been called to an address on Fort Street in Barnstaple this afternoon after reports a man with a hammer was on the loose.
Police press officer Alan Mobbs said four police cars headed to the street after a call to police at 2.43pm.
"We received a report of a man threatening someone else with a hammer," he said.
"And officers are looking for the man now."
