The week included lessons on instruments from electric guitars to a live performance from the Hartland Town Band and professional musician and accordion player to the late Queen Mother, Mario Lee.
Children were also given a presentation on being deaf, learnt sign language and had ear plugs to experience it themselves.
Students also made musical reeds from straws, learnt how sound waves move, took part in hand bell ringing and made instruments from natural and recycled materials.
They also studied the shapes and sizes of different animal's ears and learnt how bats use sound to move and detect their prey in the dark.
Head teacher, Kathy Tape, was delighted with the week. She said: "The whole school has been buzzing with science all week.
"The conversations in the playground and in between lessons have been about the science investigations the children have been doing."
Lexie Clarke, aged six added: "I did not want Science Week to stop. It was so much fun."
