Proms in a Pigsty at the Big Sheep
Animals will get to enjoy beautiful music alongside human visitors when a classical string quartet plays in an unusual setting.
Proms in a Pigsty will see Westcountry classical music stars the Sorrelli Strings play to an audience on four legs and two.
The concert on Sunday July 22 will be performed in the animal barn at the Big Sheep in North Devon, with all the animals in residence.
Big Sheep owner Rick Turner said: "It has been well known that dairy farmers have used classical music to improve milk yield by playing it in the milking parlour, and we have used classical music to calm the sheep during lambing time, but the pigs are the ones who really seem to tune into the notes.

Sorrelli Strings are a professional string ensemble whose musicians have performed both in the UK and internationally. Sorrelli Strings was founded by, and predominantly the ensembles comprise of, three sisters 'Sorrelli', Ilfracombe girls - Kate, Jenny and Emma Collingham. They will perform under musical director Dom Carter.
