PUB rock legends Dr Feelgood play in Bideford tomorrow. Formed in Canvey Island, Essex, in the early 1970s, Dr Feelgood became one the most popular live rhythm and blues acts in the world and readied unsuspecting music lovers for the arrival of punk.

Dr Feelgood have enjoyed a string of hit singles in many countries including Roxette, She's A Wind Up and See You Later Alligator. The last album to feature Lee Brilleaux, Down At The Doctors, was recorded live in Canvey Island at the band's own music bar just two months before he died.

Julien Temple's film Oil City Confidential released in February tells the story of the band's formative years featuring the Wilko Johnson era.
