Public Service Broadcasting at the Plough
J WILLGOOOSE and Wrigglesworth may sound like two great uncles with swirly moustaches but they are, in fact, the members of Public Service Broadcasting.
Their mission is to use samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material in a bid to "teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future". The two musicians are obsessed with documentaries and news reports from a specific black-and-white era. Their music might be described as electronic, with elements of krautrock, postrock, synth-pop and drum'n'bass.
