Referees' decision go against us, says Bideford manager Sean Joyce
BIDEFORD manager Sean Joyce is concerned referees' decisions are not going his team's way in the Evo-Stik League southern premier division.
As "the smallest club in the league", he believes they have not had a fair deal from officials against more established clubs.
"They think it's little old Bideford," he said. "We are the smallest club in the league and to earn every point we have got to work extra hard for the little decisions."
On Saturday, Bideford were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Totton at the Sports Ground.

Joyce was angered when Baily Cargill, the Totton wing back, escaped a red card after appearing to lash out at Sean Downing midway through the second half.
Cargill had already been cautioned and when he clashed with Downing again he was quickly substituted.
"If it had been the other way round I would have expected Sean Downing to go off," said Joyce.
"If we had been away to any team in the league this season we would have got punished for that one and been down to ten men. It's a game changer."
Joyce praised his players for a much-improved performance after last week's 2-1 defeat to Banbury United. "We created a lot of chances and I thought they were happy with a point," he said.
The scheduled match against Cambridge City on Tuesday was postponed and a new date is yet to be arranged. Bideford will hope for their second away win of the season when they travel to Redditch United on Saturday.
Redditch are in the relegation zone after losing their last five games.
On Tuesday, the Robins are back at the Sports Ground against Bedworth United who are also in poor form, having taken one point from five matches.
It will be an opportunity to avenge the 2-1 defeat on the opening day of the season when Bideford suffered a nightmare introduction to the premier division.
Trailing after two minutes, the newly-promoted side then had central midfielders Matt Hockley and Matt Bye sent off.
