STARS of the Royal Ballet, including Sarah Lamb, come to Chulmleigh on Friday for a unique performance. They will appear with dancers from the local community and local schools in a production called Bespoke.

Former Royal Opera House associate choreographer, Freddie Opoku-Addaie, has been working with the local community to help create this exceptional evening of dance.

The event is the culmination of a year-long project called Devon Dance Compass, aimed at bringing dance to the heart of rural communities. It has been organised by the dance development agency, Dance in Devon.

"These are the sorts of dancers they would normally have to travel to large venues to see and now Devon people are going to see them dancing on their doorstep – almost literally," said Dance In Devon director Gillian Dale.
