Runners in pyjamas head to the beach for charity
IF YOU'RE out for a romantic stroll along Woolacombe beach for Valentine's Day on Sunday, these pyjama-clad girls will be glad of your support.
Jordan Atreidees and Shannon McDavitt, both aged 11, are planning to run the length of the beach from Woolacombe to Putsborough and back again — in their pyjamas — to raise funds for Help For Heroes.

The girls have already raised £300 and support is growing...in legs as well as coinage.
Jordan's mum Hayley said: "Since Jordan came up with the idea, the girls have now recruited six of their friends form Ilfracombe Army Cadets to join them. We've also got some connections at Chivenor, so we're hoping to get some Marines to join us and we're hoping to get the Search and Rescue helicopter to make an appearance."
She said the girls, both students at Ilfracombe Arts College, are hoping to raise around £500 for the charity. Anyone who would like to make a donation can sign up to sponsorship at Shirley's Newsagents or Salt Rock, both in Woolacombe village, where sponsorship forms are held.
