Rescue at Saunton Sands after man falls on rocks
A 48-YEAR-OLD man was rescued by the RAF Search and Rescue crew from Chivenor after he fell on rocks at Saunton Sands on Saturday.
The Coastguard and ambulance crews were also called to the scene shortly before 4pm and the man was taken to North Devon District Hospital.
He was unconscious when he was rescued but it was not known if he was seriously injured.
No further details were available.
