UNDOUBTEDLY one of the UK's finest impressionists, Phil Cool is a unique comic talent. While many rely on make-up and costumes to get into character, all Cool needs is his pliable face and flexible features to transform into anyone from Paul McCartney to Winston Churchill. Seeing truly is believing as he performs surreal comic sketches to take you into a world where anything seems possible and the absurd seems credible.

HOBSON'S Choice was traditionally the choice of one thing only or nothing at all. In Studio Theatre's production of Harold Brighouse's Hobson's Choice, directed by Paula Morante, Henry Horatio Hobson is a successful shop owner selling shoes made by his employee Will Mossop.
Hobson rules his household with a rod of iron, but when his children and shoemaker rebel, what choice is he presented with? Discover the hilarity of his dilemma as Studio Theatre bring this delightful Lancashire comedy to life.
Many will remember the famous film version starring Charles Laughton, John Mills and Brenda De Banzie. Studio Theatre's cast features local talents Alan Bailey, Matt Cann, Larry Fabian, Carla Morgan, Lisa Morgan, James Morrison, Jason Morrison, Sara Pruce, Tony Parker, Peggy Strudwick, Rod Vass and Fenella Watson.
As well as several shows at the Landmark this summer you can also catch the play at two other venues: Pilton Church Hall on Friday July 24, 8pm, and Croyde Village Hall on Thursday July 30, 8pm. Tickets for these shows will be on the door. More details at: www.studiotheatreonline .org.uk
