Sensibly serving up a taste of Austen
Sense and Sensibility
Chapterhouse Theatre Company
-

POPULAR: Sense And Sensibility from Chapterhouse.
Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe
Friday, February 3, 7.30pm
CHAPTERHOUSE, one of the hardest working companies on the theatre circuit, serve up popular costume dramas, often against the backdrop of beautiful stately homes or gardens.
They are back in North Devon again, this time for an indoor performance of Sense And Sensibility, adapted for the stage by Laura Turner.
Elinor and Marianne Dashwood make their first forays into the excitingly decadent world of eighteenth century society.
The lively tale follows the sisters as they fall in love, make mistakes and experience heartbreak for the first time in their quest to find a balance between sense and sensibility.
Tickets: £12 (full), £10 (concession), £8 (student and young person). Box office: 01271 324242.
The show is also at the Regal Theatre, Minehead on Saturday, February 4, 7.30pm. Box office: 01643 706430.
